Privacy policy

Thank you for trusting us with your trip. Your privacy matters to us, so this page explains in plain language what information we receive when you contact or book with Panama Shuttles, what we do with it — and what we never do with it.

We don’t share your information with anyone.

We never sell, rent or give your personal data to other companies or advertisers. It stays with our team and is used only to arrange your trip.

Who we are

Panama Shuttles is a small local transport team based in Panama City, Panama. For anything about your personal information, write to booking@panamashuttles.com or message us on WhatsApp at +507 6093 0562.

What information we receive

  • Booking and contact form: what you type in — your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, travel date, route, number of passengers, pickup point, flight number and your message.
  • WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to send us.

We never ask for passport numbers, card numbers or other sensitive information through this website.

What we use it for

  • To answer your questions and send you a quote.
  • To arrange and operate your shuttle, transfer or tour, including pickup times and any changes.
  • To contact you about that trip.

We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t send you promotions unless you ask us to.

Who can see it

  • Our team: the people who answer your messages and organise your trip.
  • Your driver: only your name, pickup point, time and phone number, so they can find you.
  • A tour operator, only if you ask us to help you reserve one of its tours (for example a boat tour to Coiba): only your name and the number of people, so it can hold your place.

That is all. We never sell, rent or give your data to other companies, and we never pass it on for marketing. We would only disclose it if the law requires us to, for example by order of a competent authority.

Services that help us run the website

  • Form delivery: the booking form reaches our email through FormSubmit, a form-delivery service. Nothing you type is published on the website.
  • WhatsApp: messages are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
  • Payments: deposits are processed by PayPal, Wise or the card payment provider you use. We never see or store your card number.
  • Statistics: we use Google Analytics to understand, in general, how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are read most. It sets cookies and collects data such as the pages you visit, your type of device and your approximate location, but it does not give us your name, email or phone number. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block these cookies in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on; Google explains how it handles this data in its privacy policy.
  • Hosting: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. Our fonts and images are served from our own server.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only as long as we need them to arrange your trip and answer any follow-up questions about it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to stop using it, or to send you a copy. These rights are recognised by Panama’s Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection. Write to booking@panamashuttles.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date below. See also our booking, deposit & cancellation policy.
